Creating Albums

Step-by-Step Album Creation

1. Navigate to My Albums (web: /albums, mobile: Albums tab).
2. Click Create Album to open the album form.
3. Fill in the required and optional fields (see table below).
4. Click Save -- the album is created and you are redirected to the album editor.

Creating an album requires authentication. You must be signed in to your BINDARO account.

Album Form Fields

Slug Validation

As you type (or after auto-generation from the name), the slug is checked for availability in real time:

• A green indicator means the slug is available.
• A red indicator means the slug is already taken -- choose a different one.

What Happens When You Create an Album

• A default folder is automatically created inside the album. This folder cannot be deleted.
• The album is assigned the visibility you chose (or PRIVATE by default).
• You are redirected to the album editor where you can start adding collections and items.
• The number of albums you can create depends on your subscription plan.

Editing an Album

You can edit an album's metadata at any time:

1. Open your album and click the Edit Album button (pencil icon) in the album header.
2. Alternatively, go to My Albums, find the album, and select Edit from its menu.
3. The same form used for creation opens, pre-filled with current values.
4. Change any fields and click Save.

caution

Changing the slug will break any previously shared links to the album. There is no automatic redirect from old slugs to new ones.

What You Can Edit

• Name, description, category, visibility, item layout, color, logo, and banner.

What You Cannot Edit

• The album's internal ID.
• The creation date.

Deleting an Album

1. Open your album.
2. Click the Delete Album button (trash icon) in the album header. The icon highlights red on hover.
3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog. The warning states: "This action cannot be undone. All items in this album will be permanently removed."
4. The album is deleted along with all its folders, collections, and items (cascading delete).
5. You are redirected to your album list.
6. Your profile statistics (album count, item count, collection count, view count) are automatically updated.

Deleting an album is irreversible. There is no trash or undo. All data -- folders, collections, items, showcase modules, notes -- is permanently removed.

Album Limits

The number of albums and collections you can create is governed by your subscription plan. Features like Showcase Modules and Collection Groups require a PRO plan or higher.
